Pediatrics Branch
It is one of the scientific Branch that studies pediatrics in the fourth, fifth and sixth year.
The Branch goals:
After completing the courses in our Branch, the student must be familiar with, and able to:
1- Take a medical history and conducting a clinical examination of the children, taking into account the child’s age group (preterm, newborn, infant, preschool, school age, adolescence).
2- Measure various growth parameters, compare them with normal standards, and give simple reasons for the differences between these standards.
3- Able to search scientific literature and research on cases he encounters in the scientific field.
4- Obtain extensive information about newborns, and how to deal with various diseases in this age group.
5- Plan to deal with various childhood diseases, how to conduct the necessary laboratory tests, and the most important causes of this disease.
